Lynne:
President
Lynne has worked with many species of animals her entire life. She graduated from an Agricultural college and studied Animal Husbandry. She and her husband, Frank, homesteaded a piece of property in 1997. She purchased her first donkey in 1999 and was forever smitten by the unique equid behavior. When she became aware of the need to rescue these amazing, kind and intelligent creatures from slaughter, she dove in head first. As of 2021, they have successfully rescued just short of 100 donkeys with so many more to come!

Frank:
Ranch Foreman
Frank began his journey into the world of equine in the early 90’s. After his engagement to Lynne, he discovered his passion for horses. Frank began auditing and attending training sessions with Ray Hunt, John Lyons and many others. This passion rolled over into his work in law enforcement and subsequently, he became the lead trainer for his agency and duties as a full-time Mounted Enforcement Detail Supervisor. After retirement, Frank and Lynne continued their dedication to the equine by saving miniature donkeys bound for slaughter. He has taken his knowledge and skills and parlayed them into his new position as Ranch Foreman of the Hidden B Ranch Donkey Rescue. From hoof care, colt starting and advanced training issues, he has found his niche with these kind, loving long ears alongside his wife, Lynne.
Lori: Secretary/Treasurer
When Lori told her family that she was rescuing donkeys, they were not at all surprised. According to her mom, she has been rescuing all sorts of animals since the the day she could walk and carry one in her tiny arms. If it was homeless, injured or just looked sad, she would bring it home. She loves spending her free time with the donkeys and takes special interest in the ones that have a harder time adjusting to their new environment. To Lori, “Life without animals is no life at all.”
Dr. Hayley: Veterinarian
Meet our incredible veterinarian Dr. Hayley from Conejo Valley Equine. She is young, beautiful and brilliant! We give her all the kudos for saving our little ‘“Snoopy’s” life as he had a very rough start. Thank you Dr. Hayley for your love and dedication to doing what you do and doing it so extremely well! We all love you ❤️
Kenzie: Ranch-hand
Kenzie is the daughter of Lynne and Frank, our President and Ranch Foreman.
“See a need, fill a need” is her motto around the ranch. Whether it’s tractor work, medicating, wrangling, social media, feeding, etc… she’s there. The love for animals runs deep in this family!
